Solano County Businesses Watching Solano Economy & Election

Upcoming elections will effect Solano County businesses. Meanwhile on the national and international levels, the investment market is waiting for the presidential election.

Today, the Dow Jones industrial average fell about 108 points, but ended up two points higher than last week.

Solano County businesses need an even playing field for small and large businesses. On the national level, Wells Fargo said, “They need to know the playing field before they get out there and play.”

Solano County and US businesses are waiting for the economic report due Friday.  Tomorrow’s economic report will score how much the U.S. economy grew in the third quarter.

About 100 S&P companies submitted third-quarter results last week. From these a whopping 70 percent surpassed analysts' estimates. These and Solano County businesses are often finding higher and higher profits.
